World Cancer Awareness Day
Thursday 4th February
World Cancer Awareness Day
World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment.
By raising worldwide awareness, improving education and catalysing personal, collective and government action, we're working together to reimagine a world where millions of preventable cancer deaths are saved and access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equal for all - no matter who you are or where you live.
There are many ways that we are encouraged to help prevent cancer. Get involved and support the cause this Cancer Awareness Day by taking part in a local walk/run, uploading your pictures taken along the way, or even the route you have taken, and help make a difference by making a small donation to a Cancer charity that means something to you.
